Rather than seek peace amongst all Eldian members, the speaker seeks aid for the refugee Subjects of Ymir and further condemns the “island devils” as their true enemy. The group then attends the forum the next day, only to be let down by the organization’s agenda. This realization chips away at their hopes of establishing peace, but Hange is still optimistic about the Protection Group. Levi and the squad visit the home of Azumabito, where she further explains that Marley has been cracking down on Subjects of Ymir who escaped internment camps.
As the Marleyan crowd gang up on the child, Levi plays it off as if Ramzi is Sasha’s sibling, giving enough time for the entire group to leave the scene. The group soon finds out about Marley’s witch hunt for Subjects of Ymir when Levi catches a young refugee named Ramzi with Sasha’s purse. Hange Zoe looks to form an alliance with the Subjects of Ymir Protection Group, which will give a speech the next day. The undercover Eldians enter enemy territory with good intentions.
